Williams Lake, BC, April 2, 2012 - Cariboo Chilcotin Beetle Action Coalition (CCBAC) announces new Board of Directors member Cariboo Regional District (CRD) Electoral Area K Director, Chad Mernett.  Director Mernett replaces former CCBAC CRD Director Steve Mazur, the former Electoral Area E Director. Mazur retired from politics in December 2011.
 
“We thank Steve Mazur for all of his work while on the Board and welcome Chad Mernett and the continued support from the Cariboo Regional District,” said Mayor Kerry Cook, Chair, Cariboo Chilcotin Beetle Action Coalition. “We have a great group on our Board and we’re all committed to working with our community partners and government groups to rebuild the region after the pine beetle devastation. As part of our commitment, we’re continuing to fund projects to build positive economic, environmental and social health in the Cariboo Chilcotin region.”
