March to Jerusalem: Fizzle or Omen?

Media downplay the "Global March to Jerusalem" and local Palestinians fear trouble with Israelis, but the Bible pictures an end-time destruction when "all nations are gathered against Jerusalem." Are their plans an omen of more?

The “Global March to Jerusalem” on Land Day, March 30 could see 100,000 move on Israel’s border for non-violent demonstrations, while local Palestinians are ambivalent, fearing trouble with Israel.

Ancient Hebrew manuscripts foretell a time when God “will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity…” Zechariah 14:1,2. Could that impending?

Dr. Richard Ruhling thinks so: “If I were living in Jerusalem and saw crowds gathering early April (time of Passover and judgment) I would grab what I could and get out,” cited from his ebook, Jerusalem’s Impending Destruction.

Ruhling refers to Israel’s divided history of Judah and Jewish tragedy at Passover in 70 AD, while 10 northern tribes were scattered to be re-gathered, Jeremiah 31:10. 2012 is the end of the longest time prophecy in the Bible and it suggests a re-gathering to Israel in 2012-2013, he says.

Further support for this includes a change in calendar for Israel when they came out of Egypt after 430 years. This is 430 years of Gregorian Calendar; time for a change or Exodus?
