Shelly BMW Announces New College Grad Car Program

March 26, 2012 – Buena Park, Calif. – Shelly BMW is pleased to announce a new program that will make it easier for qualifying college graduates to get behind the wheel of the Ultimate Driving Machine.
    
“The start of spring marks the final chapter for many college students as they prepare for graduation,” General Manager Steve Rudkin said. “And with graduation comes the need for dependable transportation as these grads prepare to enter the workforce.”
    
This new college grad car program, available exclusively through BMW Financial Services from March 15, 2012 to January 2, 2013, offers incentives for both new and Certified Pre-Owned BMWs. In addition to flexible and competitive financing rates, qualifying graduates are eligible for a $1,000 lease cash offer when leasing or financing the purchase of a new BMW. Or, if interested in a Certified Pre-Owned BMW, recent graduates are eligible for a $750 cash incentive toward their lease or purchase.

Program eligibility requirements include graduation from an accredited college or university with an associates, undergraduate or graduate degree earn within the previous 12 months or eligibility for graduation within the next four months with a verifiable offer of employment. Additionally, graduates must provide a copy of their official transcripts, POI or employer letter with hiring manager’s contact information stating position/title and income and at least 24 months of credit file. Graduate must also show a gross debt to income ratio of less than 45% and a gross automotive payment to income ratio of less than 25%.
