GEERG (Greenland Shark and Elasmobranch Education and Research Group) is a Canadian organization lead for scientist Jeffrey Gallant. The mission of GEERG is to study the Greenland shark and other northern shark species in their natural environment in an effort to promote shark awareness, conservation, and sustainable fishing practices.
