SanAir Creates ’Northeastern Corridor’ To Enhance Client Services

RICHMOND, Va., March 13, 2012 -- SanAir Technologies Laboratory announced today a significant expansion of its national environmental-testing capabilities following receipt of certificates of approvals for new services in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.
 
“With these new certificates, we have established a Northeastern Corridor of services which will effectively cover more than a third of the nation’s total population,” said Sean McGlynn, the company’s President and CEO.
 
“Our Northeastern Corridor expansion means that, following extensive examination and testing of our services, we now offer a full spectrum of environmental testing services from Virginia to Maine,” McGlynn said. “The Northeastern Corridor concept enables us to align services and logistics for greater operational efficiencies.”
 
SanAir’s Northeastern Corridor development follows previously announced approvals for nationwide asbestos testing, and expansion of the company’s national industrial hygiene testing program through accreditation for lead testing by the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
 
 “Taken as a whole, these developments will allow us to add technical and support staff to our facility in Powhatan County, Virginia, a growing component of the Metro Richmond region,” McGlynn said.
 
Established in 2003, SanAir has become a nationally recognized environmental testing laboratory. It focuses on identifying potentially harmful pathogens and hazardous materials in public venues such as hospitals, shopping malls and schools, with primary clientele being developers, governments and restoration and remediation contractors.
 
SanAir is based in Oakbridge Industrial Park in Powhatan County, Virginia near the new Watkins Center development, a major component in Richmond’s rapid multi-use business growth.
