For Every Cabinet Sold, A Tree Will Be Planted

Kitchen Resource Direct is working with the Ocala National Forest to plant trees representing each kitchen cabinet purchase. Shortly after a customer purchases a kitchen online from Kitchen Resource Direct, they will receive an official Ocala National Forest Plant-A-Tree Certificate thanking them for their support.

Gaining inspiration from Blake Mycoskie’s TOMS Shoes One for One™ campaign, Benjamin Gordon, Vice President of Kitchen Resource Direct, felt it was time to give back as well.

Trees are vital to our ecosystem because they provide shelter to other living things under their foliage as well as prevent erosion. They also play an important role in producing oxygen and reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. One large tree can provide a day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people.
