WhatSellsBest.com, a website tracking rare auction items selling on eBay, is reporting bids have passed $85,000 on day two of a ten day auction, for a rare Gibson Guitar which included a surprising personal item belonging to Les Paul.
The Guitar previously belonged to Les Paul’s ex-wife Mary Ford. The 1961 Gibson SG Les Paul Custom was recently purchased on an episode of History Channels hit television show Pawn Stars for $90,000. The $90k purchase included a number of Les Paul’s personal items.
The surprise... According to the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop (Pawn Stars) eBay listing; "Les is told not to sign a contract with Gibson" in a letter which is included in the auction lot.
