New Book Tells the Story of Savvy Mums Who Work From Home Australia Wide

There are plenty of women out there experiencing same situation as Sarah Jessica Parker’s movie ’I Don’t Know How She Does It’. These ‘super Mums’ are juggling career and children – with an endless to-ing and fro-ing between roles and thinking, “Is it really all worth it?”

In Sydney, Fiona Lewis, a mother of three boys, is just one of these women. She has recently launched a book, “Mumpreneurs Online: EXPOSED” to share how she and other Mums have found the perfect solution. 
 
“When I had my first two children I stayed at home for a few years,” explains Fiona, “but eventually I felt I needed to be more than just ‘mummy’. I craved the intellectual stimulation I used to get from my work environment so I returned to full-time employment.”
 
However, after 12 months of returning to full time work, Fiona discovered that the trade-off was not worth it. “I was tired, stressed and after tax and child-care expenses – there was hardly any money left! It was a crazy existence.” It was at this point Fiona discovered the world of online business. Three years down the track, she has now developed the kind of flexible lifestyle most mothers only dream about.
 
In her “Mumpreneurs Online: Exposed” book, Fiona shared her story and the stories of a dozen women who successfully run an online business from home. “The book is designed to help empower women and to provide alternative ideas to the whole ‘work-family balance’ concept,” explains Fiona.
 
“The web abounds with online business opportunities for mums, and you don’t have to be technically savvy to find one that is right for you,” explains Fiona.
