Blue Bend Photography announces joint venture with The Obsidian Collective to meet growing Wedding Photography and Video demand in Asheville Wedding Market

ASHEVILLE, NC – Blue Bend Photography Inc., a leader in providing wedding photography services in and around Asheville, NC, today announces its intent to join forces with The Obsidian Collective, Asheville’s top wedding video production company, to create a joint venture in order to meet growing demand for wedding photography - videography services across the United States’ wedding market.
 
By combining the photographic creative talent of Blue Bend Photography with the significant film and editing talents of The Obsidian Collective, the anticipated joint venture would provide customers with a more efficient and customer friendly alternative to hiring two separate companies for the two services. The joint venture would also enable customers to receive a discounted price when booking both services at once in a combined “package.”

Owner Ben Carland returned to North Carolina in 2007 to found The Obsidian Collective and pursue bringing greater media production to his hometown area in the Appalachian Mountains. He is responsible for the overall operation of The Obsidian Collective and heads The Collective’s film division. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Filmmaking from Florida State University and is building a career of writing and directing feature-length films.
