The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association (IRRMA) of Arnolds Park, Iowa is pleased to announce that it has entered into a joint partnership with Bill Grady and Star Communications of Fort Dodge, Iowa.  The agreement will allow Star Communications to market, promote, and solicit IRRMA’s large events, programs, and activities statewide to potential advertising sponsors and rock ‘n roll music fans of all ages.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity to market the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association’s events and membership to potential sponsors and rock music fans on a large scale,” said Bill Grady of Star Communications.  Founded in 2002, Star Communications brings a solid track record of advertising sales success, a network of advertising professionals, and over 30 years of marketing experience including extensive knowledge of traditional and new media.

John Senn, CEO of the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association added, “The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association, from day one, has been a state-wide organization and we have long searched for that one piece to the puzzle that would allow us to more effectively share our mission and message to those across the State of Iowa. Bill Grady brings that quality to the organization. He is well connected to those in the music industry throughout the Midwest.  He has been successful throughout his career whether it be radio, sales, or marketing and he fully understands what the Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association is wanting to achieve and what it takes to help us get there. We are both proud and excited to have him be a part of the organization”.

The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association (IRRMA) was created in 1997 and was the first state association in the nation dedicated to the preservation and recognition of rock ’n roll music.  It is also one of the few state rock ’n roll music associations to have a museum and historical memorabilia collection.  Back in 1997, IRRMA was founded with the purpose of retaining and honoring the legacy of Iowa Rock ‘n Roll and preserving its history. Today IRRMA boasts a free statewide educational program that takes the history and music to Iowa’s young in their schools, churches and youth groups. IRRMA sponsors rock ‘n roll entertainment at venues throughout the state. Each Labor Day weekend it honors the bands, musicians, radio stations, ballrooms, music stores and individuals who have made significant contributions to rock ‘n roll by inducting them into its Hall of Fame.
