This year’s conference will explore vital resources, practices and information on the shifting commercialization landscape, and industry experts will share best practices needed to innovate more effectively and meet evolving clinical and customer needs. Dr. Nelson will present on innovative mobile health apps starting at 2 p.m. CST along with Nathan Clevenger, chief mobility architect for ITR Group, and Dr. Mathieu Petitjean, president of MedNest. This session will explore who the developers are behind today’s newest mobile health care apps and their strategies for success. Dr. Nelson will share his insight on how businesses are approaching regulatory approval and market development in this new industry segment.

About the Speaker
Dr. Scott Nelson leads Logic PD’s creative groups to innovate and develop market leading products for customers. Dr. Nelson has nearly 25 years of experience overseeing product development for multiple markets, including advanced medical technology. Prior to joining Logic PD in 2000, Dr. Nelson worked for 3M and Honeywell. He holds a Ph.D. in applied and engineering physics from Cornell University, a doctoral minor in business administration from the Samuel Johnson School of Management at Cornell University, and he earned his bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from St. Olaf College.
