Pennsylvania Liquor License Becomes Available in Monroe County

BUSHKILL, PA (Middle Smithfield Township - November 2011) – HaRa Corporation is offering a Pennsylvania R Liquor License for sale for $100,000. The full R License allows for food service establishments to serve liquor, wine or beer products. To hold and operate an R License, the applicant must have 30 or more seats and is permitted to sell alcohol Mondays through Saturdays from 7:00 am to 2:00 am. On Sundays, it may open at 11:00 am with an additional Sunday Sales Permit. This license is restricted by the County-Quota Law and may be transferred from Middle Smithfield Township to anywhere within Monroe County.

This is a great opportunity for a Monroe County entrepreneur to apply for licensure who wishes to add alcoholic beverage sales to their existing or new restaurant business. Eligible applicants could operate anything from an elegant dining operation to a corner pizza shop.”

The licensing process is completed through the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and is regulated by that process. It is recommended that when pursing licensure, you engage legal counsel to facilitate transfer. The License is currently held in Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, PA.
