Apex Block™ To Build Internationally

Apex Block™ has been chosen as the wall construction material for new facilities in The Republic of Chile, the first of which is a Wal-Mart store.

The Republic of Chile is recognized as one of the most prosperous and financially stable nations of South America; an economically ideal location for a new store as well as a green choice for its construction. By using the APEX Block™ to build new facilities, the overall utility expenses of heating and cooling the new store are estimated to be reduced by up to 70% compared to conventional building materials.

According to Dale R. Siens, President and CEO of APEX Block™, “Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. will be constructing a new store in Republic of Chile using APEX Blocks™.  This will be the first Wal-Mart Store® built with our block.”   When completed, the new store will join the rapidly growing number of structures built with APEX Blocks™, not only in the United States, but internationally as well.
