Go Green, Make Your Home Green, Save Green

September 30, 2011 – Announcing the brand new Facebook page Go Green which was just launched last week.  The Facebook page will be focusing on a massive problem on international scale. Surprisingly, there are plenty that we, the people, can do.  On the Facebook page there will be updates and tips on how to go green.  There will be posts on how to be environmental friendly, and also what everyone, you and me, can do to help mother Earth.  On how we together can all go green and help make a difference.

The creator of this page, Jenny Jonsson, stated in an interview: “This is a problem that effects every one on the planet.  Regardless of what business you’re in or where on Earth you are at, it is part of everyone’s life.  It is up to us to take responsibility for what is going on.  We owe it to the coming generations.”

She states further: “There is so much that all of us can do, that doesn’t take much effort.  It could be as simple as reducing the use of plastic by using glass instead.  Not only is this saving the environment, it is saving money too.  There are plenty of these small sort of habits that can easily be changed.  It might seem that one person is so little in comparison to the size of the problem, but if we are all doing it then it will make a different.  Day after day.  There are a large part of the world’s population that do not have the option to do anything for the environment, but in the Western countries there are plenty of opportunities.”

About Facebook she stated: “Getting on Facebook seem like the right place to be at, that’s were the people are these days.  Another great part about it is it’s open 24/7.  This information is available at any time of the day.”

The key to going green is reduce, reuse, and recycle, in that order.  It’s mainly a matter of habit and daily routine.  Just take action, don’t just think about all the adjustments that could be done.  We are all equally responsible, and we owe it.  It is easy, start by go green at home.
