Coors Credit Union Pursues Title of “Coolest Credit Union in Colorado” With Hip Social Media Strategies and a New Mobile Banking App

GOLDEN, CO—September 2011— In keeping with the message emblazoned on the home page of its website, Coors® Credit Union is fast gaining a reputation as the coolest credit union in Colorado.  A recent Twitter conversation verified what many Coors® Credit Union  members have been saying for some time: “now that’s a cool credit union to belong to" This actual Twitter conversation took place between users of the newly launched Coors® Credit Union mobile banking application.

In 2008, the 13,633 -member credit union of Golden, Colorado launched its blog. Presented with a straight-forward yet engaging style, the financially informative  blog quickly gained a dedicated following of members and non-members alike.
This summer, Coors® Credit Union initiated their presence on Facebook and Twitter  (@CoorsCU) and quickly garnered strong social media participation while providing a hip platform from which to communicate with its loyal credit union members and friends.
