Formula 1 Set To Heat Up The Cerritos Infiniti Showroom

CERRITOS, Calif. – Sept. 9, 2011 – Summer has come to a halt – but things are just heating up at Cerritos Infiniti.

On Monday, Sept. 26th, and Tuesday, Sept. 27th a replica of the Red Bull Racing’s dominant RB7 Formula 1 car will be showcased at Cerritos Infiniti – where customers can bring their cameras and take pictures with the car. On Tuesday, Sept. 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., customers can also cool off with a hosted ice cream cart with assorted ice cream flavors with toppings as well as  rootbeer floats.

“This is an exciting event for us to host,” Cerritos Infiniti General Manager Bill Stephens said. “Infiniti’s partnership with Red Bull Racing is a fantastic pairing between one of the most exciting sports in the world and one of the most exciting brands in the world.”

Adding to the excitement of the upcoming Cerritos Infiniti event is the fact that the car is a replicated version of top-ranked Formula One driver Sebastian Vettel, who races for Team Red Bull Racing-Renault. Vettel has won 6 of the last 8 Formula One races this season.

“Formula 1 is the most high profile and international motorsport series in the world,” Stephens said. “So that means the car belongs to the top driver in the top motorsport. That adds a lot of excitement for us.”

In 2010, Formula 1 had an annual global TV viewing figure of over 1.6 billion, with an average of 200,000 fans attending each race weekend. The 2011 season will see more races than ever before with 19 events spanning every major continent.
