Article Writing Service Launches New Website after 7.5 Million Words

Content for Conversions, an article writing and press release services company headquartered in Vermont, has announced the completion of a new company website and expanded services after more than ten months in development.  The launch comes the same week the company announced the production of its 10,000th article.

“We’ve come a long way in the last few years,” says Russ Hudson, founder and editor-in-chief, “we provide much more than just article writing services now.”

Hudson explains that the company started out as a freelance essay writing service in 2002 and at one point was in the song writing business.  The new website features an assortment of services that indicate the company has changed dramatically over the years since then, including article writing and syndication services, press release writing and press release distribution, copywriting and web content development.  However, the launch of the new website wasn’t timed to coincide with the production of the company’s 10,000th article.  Rachel Clark, a senior editor for Content for Conversions, explains:

“The timing was completely inadvertent.  During a staff party for the website launch someone joked that in the last few years we must have produced billions of words.  That made me curious and I started digging around in our records.”

The actual word count turned out to be far less than what the employee had jokingly suggested, but at 7.5 million is still pretty impressive considering Clark could only get records for the last 4 years.

Despite what is clearly a well-planned website, the fact remains that the article writing services company is up against tough competition.  Writers and editors can be found by the tens of thousands on the internet, with the average new freelancer charging far less than what professionals in the field have traditionally charged.  This doesn’t seem to bother Hudson at all:

“We know from experience that the quality of the work we produce versus the fees we charge can’t be matched anywhere on the web.  Our clients also know this and stay with us for years, bringing us select referrals from time to time.  In fact, we haven’t spent any advertising dollars in at least two years.  The website is more about ease-of-use for our clients – they can place their entire order for any service right on the website in less than 30 seconds.”

There is also a blog on the new website which features articles about how to write well, how to use proper grammar and how to write for the search engine optimization industry.  Providing this type of information on a company website that sells the very same services sounds counterintuitive, but Tony Natola, a senior writer for Content for Conversions says that’s not the case:

“We really are a passionate group here.” says Natola, “We think that everyone could benefit from better communication skills.  That’s not a threat to our business model at all, because if you think about it, people who are better writers and better communicators will also be able to better appreciate the level of quality that goes into our work.  So in reality, our blog is teaching people to like what we do.”

Content for Conversions is a privately held article writing services company with plans for an IPO in 2013.
