QVC Selects Elemental to Extend Home Shopping in Europe

International expansion continues for Elemental with new deployments at QVC and product demonstrations at IBC 2011

Portland, Ore.– – Elemental Technologies, the leading provider of video processing solutions that enable multi-screen content delivery, today announced that QVC Italy (QVC Italia) and QVC in the UK are using Elemental™ Live to expedite video delivery of live television broadcasts to online platforms. QVC is the latest in a growing base of Elemental customers in Europe supported out of the company’s new offices in the United Kingdom.

The Elemental Live video processing system provides content producers and distributors with video and audio encoding for adaptive streaming to new media platforms. Elemental Live empowers QVC broadcast operators to instantly create individual product clips from live broadcast for web delivery. This extends the life cycle of product promotions and provides a seamless home shopping experience for customers regardless of viewing platform.
