Company is increasing storage capacity to meet farmers’ needs

Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today announced that it will expand its grain elevator in Labelle, Mo. ADM will triple its Labelle facility’s storage capacity with construction of a 720,000-bushel capacity grain storage bin. The project will also add a new receiving pit, load out, 140,000-bushel wet storage bin and a commercial corn dryer to offer local growers a convenient location to dry corn.

“ADM is expanding our grain storage and transportation capabilities in this area to meet regional growers’ need for larger, more efficient grain elevators that offer corn drying and a wide range of services and marketing options for crops,” said Joe Taets, president, ADM Grain.

Along with the expanded facility, ADM also brings expertise in local and global agricultural markets to farmers in the area.
