BASF launches Dispersions & Pigments website for North America
FLORHAM PARK -- BASF’s Dispersions & Pigments business in North America has launched a new website, www.basf.us/dpsolutions .
The new website provides customers with easy access to information about the company’s high-value ingredients and solutions for:
- decorative, industrial and transportation paints and coatings;
- printing inks, overprint varnishes, functional coatings and adhesives for printing and packaging;
- building and infrastructure materials; and,
- nonwovens and fiber bonding.
“BASF’s Dispersions & Pigments business works with customers to understand the needs of their industry. We apply science and the company’s sustainability philosophy to help our customers solve their technical and formulation challenges,” said Derek Fairclough , Senior Vice President, Dispersions & Pigments, for BASF in North America.
In addition to its broad portfolio of resins, binders, latex, pigments, effect pigments, colorants , formulation additives, specialty additives, and systems , BASF offers deep application and formulation expertise.
“Our customers in each of these industries face unique challenges, although there are some common themes across markets, including the need to address sustainability initiatives,” said Fairclough. “We create the chemistry that helps our customers convert challenges into solutions.”
For example, while BASF makes virtually every ingredient that architectural coatings manufacturers need, it can also help them achieve their most difficult goals, such as lowering volatile organic compounds (VOCs) while maintaining high performance.
Other sustainability initiatives include:
- heat management for cool roofs;
- pavement preservation; and,
- flexible food packaging.
The new Dispersions & Pigments website is designed to offer easy navigation and features and functionality that help users find the information they need quickly. In addition to featured industry areas, the site contains a newsroom area for the latest press releases and publications.
