Gourmet Food is Hidden Highlight of Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival


Friday launched the summer season in Temecula at the valley’s traditional hot air balloon and wine festival. Not only did the event feature two and a half days of live music concerts and entertainment on two stages but the gourmet talents of Temecula Catering’s Chef Michael.

At the festival, VIP guests were treated like kings. The package started with luxury front row seats for the concerts. As these guests took a break from the music and entered the exclusive Cabana Club, they were treated to the finest gourmet food served in Temecula.

On Friday night, 100 select guests started their culinary adventure with a salad of spinach, candied walnuts, dates and orange vinaigrette. The main course featured pork tenderloin with cranberry sauce, shaved fennel and balsamic reduction. On Saturday, 200 VIP guests were treated to a grilled bread and veggie salad with whole grain mustard vinaigrette. The main dish was a skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and lemon garlic rice.
