SIPI announces Board appointments

Strategic Intellectual Property Information (private limited), www.sipi-ip.com, the sole leading internet brand monitoring company based in Asia (and a recognized service provider by eBay), is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Unger as the Chairman of its Advisory Board.

Jeffrey was the founder and Chairman of Genuone Inc., a Boston-based brand protection and services company that was acquired by the Opsec Security Group, a UK-based technology, security printing and software company (LSE:OSG). Between 2006 and 2010, Jeffrey served as the Global Divisional President at Opsec, and is currently Chairman and CEO of G2 Capital Advisors, a US company providing investment lifecycle advisory services to middle market investors and companies.

Joining Jeffrey on SIPI’s Advisory Board is the company’s founder, Bharat Dube, formerly Head of IP Litigation and Anti-Counterfeiting at Richemont, the Swiss luxury goods Group. At Richemont, Bharat was particularly responsible for the Group’s two principal brands, Cartier and Montblanc. Prior to joining Richemont, in 1990, Bharat worked with the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva. He is currently Chairman and CEO of Mantra Global IP Consultants, www.mantra-ip.com, with offices in Geneva and Singapore; he is also an advisor to IP Gurus, a boutique firm in New Delhi, and co-founder of Africa IP Services Center, Nairobi, which specialize in IP enforcement in India and the African continent, respectively.

In addition to the above, SIPI is also in discussion with other hi-caliber individuals to join its Advisory Board.
