HELP! – Hearts Of Gold Can Save Granada Hills Baptist School

GRANADA HILLS, California, May 15, 2011 - Granada Hills Baptist School a school that has been open for over 50 years is looking for people with “Hearts of Gold” to donate and help save the school from closing it’s doors.

The School is accepting donations of unwanted, unused, and broken gold jewelry to help Granada Hills Baptist School keep their doors open. All Gold donations need to be brought to Granada Hills Baptist School by Tuesday, May 17, 2011 by 10am. Other donations are also accepted and donations can be arranged by calling the school or going online to their website.

Two weeks ago the school let teachers and parents know that after 50 years the school will have to close it’s doors. The School partnered with http://www.UniqueFundraisingEventIdeas.com to coordinate a fundraiser through their “Events4Gold” program to raise capital and help the school stay open.

Parents, Volunteers and Students are racing to meet the $200,000 mark to save Granada Hills Baptist School “Everyone is putting their heart in this crusade,” says parent David Aguilar. With time running out everyone in the community hopes to raise enough money to keep Granada Hills Baptist School open another 50 years.
