MT Hojgaard Signs IT Services Agreement with IBM to Enhance Worldwide Operations

COPENHAGEN, Denmark, - In a move to support business scalability and agility for worldwide growth, and optimize its technology infrastructure to meet business demands, MT Hojgaard announced today that it has signed a six-year information technology (IT) services agreement with IBM (NYSE: IBM).

The agreement will provide MT Hojgaard, an international construction and civil engineering company, with a global service model supporting its business growth and globalization ambitions including an optimized IT Infrastructure and extended support levels. Under the agreement signed in the second quarter of 2011, IBM will support MT Hojgaard with 24x7 international help desk support, server operations, and maintenance services, as well as provide a flexible solution to managing future needs in an on-demand hosting setup.

IBM will also install a global network solution tied to IBM’s global support centers connecting MT Hojgaard’s worldwide construction sites with headquarters. This will optimize data traffic and the utilization of wide area network (WAN) connections, and address increasing requirements from MT Hojgaard’s civil engineers for high speed network access in order to collaborate on large fourth dimension (4D) models and handle the increased use of video and photo documentation within the construction industry.
