Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust Announces Addition of Walter Schacht, Senior Vice President, Naples Market Executive

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – April. 28, 2011 --- Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust today announced the addition of Walter Schacht as Senior Vice President, market executive for its Naples office.

Mr. Schacht has more than 13 years of experience in trust and financial services. Prior to joining Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust, he worked as a director and wealth advisor with a private bank in Naples, Fla. Mr. Schacht has considerable expertise with financial planning, estate planning solutions, investment management and wealth transfer.

Active in the community, Mr. Schacht is the co-founder of the Special Needs Children’s Fund, a board member of The Shelter for Abused Women and Children Planned Giving Committee in Naples and he currently serves on the board of Friends of the Orphans and the American Red Cross of Collier County.

Mr. Schacht holds both Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Consultant designations as well as FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses. He acquired a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and is scheduled to complete his Masters in Business Administration in the next two months. Walter’s career in financial services has included roles as a Business Development Officer, Senior Trust Officer, and Personal Investment Counselor. Mr. Schacht also serves on the Estate Planning Council of Naples, the Presidents Council at Hodges University and is a cabinet member of the American Military Veterans Education Fund Committee.
