Cerritos Infiniti Announces The 2012 Infiniti M Hybrid Is Now Available At The Dealership

April 11, 2011 – Cerritos, Calif. – Cerritos Infiniti is excited to announce the 2012 Infiniti M Hybrid is now available at the dealership.
The Infiniti M35h represents the brand’s first in-house hybrid combining luxury performance with hybrid capabilities.
Crafted to deliver signature Infiniti performance, the M35h has Infiniti’s Direct Response Hybrid™ system featuring a 1-motor, 2-clutch parallel hybrid powertrain and a 7-speed automatic transmission. The high-speed motor control technology allows the driver to experience all 360 horsepower taking the Infiniti M® Hybrid from 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds.
“Infiniti took its time to discover and perfect what drivers want in a hybrid, and the result is the Infiniti M Hybrid,” said Bill Stephens, Cerritos Infiniti’s General Manager. “It’s unexpected performance and style from a hybrid and it’s unlike other hybrids in the market.”
The M series lines up between the entry-level, six-cylinder M37 and the range-topping, V-8-powered M56, the M hybrid gives buyers more power than the former and better fuel economy than either. With a total of 360 net horsepower between gasoline and electric propulsion systems, the M35h still achieves a combined fuel economy rating of 27mpg.
Infiniti’s Direct Response Hybrid system is exclusive to the brand, and lies at the heart of the M35h. Developed completely in-house, the system boasts a 3.5-liter Atkinson-cycle V-6 with 302-horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and a 50 kW electric motor.
