Colorado Builder, Celebrity Custom Homes Opening Four Innovative Model Homes in Heritage Hills Gated Community

LONE TREE, Colo., Apr. 13, 2011 – Celebrity Custom Homes, one of Colorado’s oldest and most respected homebuilders, is introducing four new model homes as it opens the last parcel of land, the Overlook, in Lone Tree Colorado’s Heritage Hills neighborhood, a Denver area gated community. The new home models will be open and available for viewing beginning April 15, 2011.

“A lot of builders continue to sit on the sidelines, but we see now as the perfect opportunity for us and our buyers to take advantage of the market,” said Dan Verdoorn, president of Celebrity Custom Homes. “We’ve run our business over the last 50-plus years based on our own solid financial position and homeowners’ desire for new, thoughtfully designed and built homes – not what the market dictates.”

According to Verdoorn, it may look like a risky time to launch a new section of a well-established neighborhood, but Celebrity’s typical homebuyer doesn’t necessarily make home buying decisions based on market fluctuations. Celebrity’s homes tend to hold their value and customers continue to seek out Celebrity homes.

“The time is right for Celebrity Custom Homes to introduce our newest models, because we can build a fantastic home in our highly desireable Heritage Hills gated community, creating unbeatable value for homeowners,” said Kurt Miller, co-owner of Celebrity Custom Homes.

Celebrity is an innovative builder, identifying trends long before the rest of the market does. The Colorado homebuilder is introducing a home collection unlike anything else in Denver – classic European architecture reinvented for Colorado living. Each home has unique options, like three-story interior courtyards, casitas, hidden rooms and full outdoor kitchens complete with pizza ovens and herb gardens.

Outdoor living, particularly in Colorado, has long been a focus, but Celebrity’s newest models think of outdoor space as an extension of the indoor space. Retractable glass doors and walls and extensive windows allow homeowners to live both indoors and outdoors seamlessly, regardless of the time of year. Positioned to take advantage of spectacular Front Range views, each home takes outdoor living to a whole new level.

The Overlook is the final phase of new homes in Heritage Hills, located between I-25 and Yosemite, just north of Lincoln Ave. Heritage Hills is one of the premier neighborhoods in Lone Tree and in the entire Denver metro area. By the time the community is complete, there will be about 677 homes. Currently there are 21 home sites available in the Overlook, which doesn’t include two homes already sold and under construction and the four model homes.

The homes start in the low-$700s. The public is welcome to view the model homes seven days a week beginning Friday, April 15th.
