With more than 50 workshops, 30 artists and three massive parties, the New Zealand Pacific Salsa Congress is the largest and most extensive Latin dance event in the country. It has some of the best Latin dance instructors around today.

These amazing instructors, who are from New Zealand and also from around the world, come to Wellington for this three-day event to enjoy world-class shows, workshops and parties.

The venue for the Friday and Saturday night parties is just a few minutes drive from The Indian Cultural Centre in Kilbirnie. Music for these events will be provided by some of New Zealand’s best Latin music DJ’s and bands.

Participants can sign up for the more than 50 workshops. These workshops will consist of a variety of Latin dance styles with instruction from the top national and international teachers. They will be providing instruction on Samba, Gafiera, Bachata, Zouk, Salsa, Rumba and Raggaeton.

There will be three huge parties to help celebrate the New Zealand Pacific Salsa Congress 2011. This will include the famous Grand Salsa Ball on Saturday night that will include some of the best Latin dancers from around the world.
