Red Bull MOBILE comes to Belgium. A strong partnership for Mobistar

Brussels - After launching in Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and South Africa, Red Bull MOBILE is today initiating its commercial activities in Belgium. The Red Bull prepaid telecom products are being offered in Belgium in collaboration with Mobistar. With the Red Bull MOBILE tariff plan, young people can call and send unlimited text messages for free with their Red Bull MOBILE friends. Moreover, customers are holding the “Ticket to the World of Red Bull” in their hands - with unlimited surfing on the Red Bull MOBILE Portal and “real” access to events, sports and athletes. This co-marketing agreement offers Mobistar an opportunity to strengthen its position in the very competitive prepaid market.

Red Bull MOBILE is the mobile branch of Red Bull, the most popular brand of energy drinks among young people. This brand is known above all for its unique marketing, with breath-taking events and culturally innovative activities. Red Bull has a 98 % recognition rate in the 15- 29 age category.

Belgium is the fifth country in which Red Bull has started up its telecom activity. For this launch Red Bull MOBILE chose Mobistar, Europe’s pioneer in prepaid cards, as its telecom partner. The strategic partnership is based on the complementarity of the two companies. Via this co-marketing agreement Mobistar can expand its prepaid offering and address new segments, while Red Bull MOBILE can rely on Mobistar´s mobile broadband network, infrastructure and experience.

The Red Bull MOBILE prepaid tariff plan offers advantages for all Red Bull MOBILE friends. As of a 10-euro monthly top-up, Red Bull MOBILE friends can make 600 minutes of free calls, send an unlimited number of text messages and surf without limit to the exclusive Red Bull MOBILE portal site, 24/7.

On the Red Bull MOBILE portal site customers can discover the World of Red Bull:
- Red Bull content is available in ’video on demand’, images and ringtones
- Updates on national and international Red Bull events, athletes and teams
- Red Bull TV; a special TV channel devoted to the World of Red Bull with spectacular images and video programmes 24/7
- Red Bull games & apps; downloading and use are free.

Moreover, Red Bull MOBILE friends have numerous chances to enter the World of Red Bull – with behind-the-scenes access to Red Bull sports and music events as well as exclusive face-to-face encounters with national and international Red Bull athletes.

A number of smartphones were selected in order to offer Red Bull MOBILE friends a unique experience with mobile Internet. They are marketed in a pack, together with a Red Bull MOBILE SIM card with which Red Bull MOBILE friends can call and send text messages without limit free of charge for one month.
