He started out the 2011 season last weekend with a win at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, putting him in a tie for 10th all-time on the Indy car wins list with 27.

About Dario: The Scotland native has 216 starts under his belt between the CART and IZOD IndyCar Series resulting in 27 wins, 25 poles, 95 top-five and 135 top-10 finishes (1997-2010). He is the winningest driver in U.S. open-wheel history from Great Britain.

Team of the Year: RACER Magazine recently named Chip Ganassi Racing the 2010 ‘Team of the Year’ for their record-breaking season. Ganassi’s teams claimed 19 victories across all three major motorsports series which they complete.

Dario is a tremendous talent and we look forward to him and the team representing us on and off the track in 2011. We’re excited about what the Ganassi organization offers and look forward to continuing the momentum we’ve seen with INDYCAR recently.”

Steve Lauletta, President, Chip Ganassi Racing Teams, Inc.: “We are very happy to begin this new relationship with the Kellogg Company on our IndyCar program.
