Logic PD to Present at Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS – March 17, 2011 —Logic PD’s director of software strategy, Mark Benson, has been invited to deliver the keynote speech at the Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference being held on Tuesday, March 22 in Minneapolis. This event is free.

Due to the recent increased rate of Android adoption for mobile computing platforms, embedded product developers want to understand how they can leverage Android for their development efforts. Benson’s keynote speech, titled, “Android Adoption and its Economic Impacts to Product Software Strategy,” will compare and contrast how product development efforts may be affected by the presence of Android.

About the Speaker
Mark Benson is director of software strategy at Logic PD, and has been with the company since 2000. Benson directs systems engineering, product planning and execution, organizational design, and software architecture and design within the embedded software engineering department. His responsibilities include leading highly-creative and productive multi-discipline teams in the development of advanced embedded product designs for the industrial, medical, aerospace, military and consumer industries. Benson holds a master’s degree in software engineering from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Bethel University in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
