DirectRooms.com – New first class resort opens in the Maldives
DirectRooms.com announces that in April a series of exclusive villas will be opening in the Maldives that are set to offer guests in luxury accommodation and indulge each of the five or even six senses.
The villas are being opened by Six Senses Resorts and Spas and this latest location called the Six Senses Laamu will feature a total of 97 villas on Olhuveli Island in the Laamu Atoll. All of the villas are either settled within the tropical trees close to the beach or housed on stilts out to sea. Each one has been built using sustainable materials which has resulted in delays to the actual completion date but has ensured the developers have caused minimal impact to the environment.
The site is a 40 minute flight from the Male airport to give guests a feeling of being able to escape from it all but within the grounds are an extensive range of restaurants and activities. The Chill bar and Altitude, which offers a vast selection of wines, ensure that there is plenty to drink on each evening while the restaurants offer everything from fresh fish to homemade ice cream.
People checked into this unique hotel Maldives (http://directrooms.com/asia-maldives/hotels/index.htm) can also be treated to a selection of spa treatments including Asian therapies combined with locally grown ingredients used in scrubs and oils. There is also a dedicated play zone for children where kids are specially looked after by each villa’s private butler, Mr Friday.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: “The Maldives is a popular holiday destination and this opening will raise demand for hotels as people head to the event. Visitors should book early to avoid disappointment.”
