Del-One Names Dion Williams to Serve as President & CEO

Dover, DE – The Board of Directors of Del-One (Delaware Federal Credit Union) is pleased to announce it has selected Dion Williams to serve as President and CEO. In this position, Mr. Williams will be responsible for leading Del-One which currently has 7 branches throughout the State of Delaware serving over 40,000 members. Del-One recently celebrated its 50 year anniversary dedicated to serving their members.

Mr. Williams is a native of the Hickory, North Carolina area where he earned a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a MBA from Wake Forest University. Mr. William’s credit union experience spans over 18 years and includes senior management positions with the Local Government Federal Credit Union (LGFCU) in North Carolina as Vice President of Financial Services and most recently as President and CEO of Central Sunbelt Federal Credit Union. “Mr. Williams has great passion for the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” says Shevock.” Additionally, Mr. Williams is a Certified Financial Planner and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Guilford College, the University of Phoenix, and the University of Southern Mississippi.
