UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI) recently announced that Richard Hayes, formerly Vice President of Sales and Marketing, was promoted to President of the company. UVDI is known worldwide as an industry leader and technology innovator providing air, surface and water UV-C disinfection and activated carbon filtration solutions for residential, commercial, institutional and healthcare markets.

Mr. Hayes has over 25 years of experience in business management, executive and leadership positions. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy where he earned a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering. Prior to joining UVDI in 2009, Mr. Hayes held senior sales, marketing and general management positions with manufacturing companies in the automotive industry.
