TestAmerica Laboratory Director Elected to the Board of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of Hazardous Materials Managers

Opal Davis Johnson, TestAmerica’s Laboratory Director at the North Canton, Ohio laboratory, has been elected to the board of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of Hazardous Materials Managers (NEOCHMM). NEOCHMM is a chapter of the Alliance of Hazardous Materials Professionals (AHMP).

The NEOCHMM’s mission is to cultivate, promote and sustain the science of hazardous materials management within the community. As a Board Member, Mrs. Davis Johnson will be instrumental in developing and coordinating a balanced program of meetings and educational training seminars to enhance the awareness and understanding of current topics that contribute to the protection of human health and the environment within Northeast Ohio.

Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (CHMMs) obtain their credentials through the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. CHMM professionals participate in professional development activities throughout the course of their certification to maintain their continued competence in the management of hazardous materials.
