Maryland Ford Dealer in Town of 700 People Becomes 93rd Ford Dealer in the Nation for Ford Sales in 2010

Ford Sales for 2010 have now been reported and the 2010 sales year has come to a close. Of the 3200 Ford dealers in the Nation the top 3% (100 dealers) are looked upon as the leading dealers in the country. In a town of almost 700 people, Preston Ford of Maryland reached their goal to become a top 100 Ford Dealer.

Preston Ford ranked 93rd in sales for the year 2010 and 43rd for the month of December alone. Last year Preston came close by making it to 104th Ford Dealer in the nation. With the help of the local communities of Delaware and Maryland including Salisbury, Annapolis, and Dover; Preston Ford was able to sell well over their objective. Top sellers included the Ford F-150, Ford Super Duty, Ford Edge, and Ford Fusion.

The Ford F-150 had the most sales at the dealership. But the introduction of the new 2011 Ford Super Duty really helped sales when it was released earlier in the year. The Ford Edge crossover has always been a top seller because of its unique design and customer appeal. The Ford Edge has also recently been redesigned, giving Ford Dealers everywhere a surge of demand for the vehicle. The 2010 Ford Fusion which was the 2010 North Amercia Car of the Year also saw its fair share of buyers competing with the new Hyundai Sonata.
