As part of this commitment, CommonWealth One co-hosted the Real Money Experience teacher seminar on September 29, 2010. The Real Money Experience seminar was targeted for Career and Technical Education, History and Social Studies or Mathematics teachers in our local area, who were looking for new and innovative methods to teach the principles of new Economics and Personal Finance course.

During this free seminar, the sponsoring credit unions provided teachers with the tools and curricula to teach the Economics and Personal Finance course to their students. The credit union representatives covered the new course requirements and content and presented games, activities and free educational resources, which the teachers could easily take advantage of to better teach their students.
