London, U.K. - Star Alliance Company Plus (SACP) is delighted to announce that bmi has joined the alliance’s corporate loyalty programme in the UK and Ireland.

bmi’s decision to join Star Alliance Company Plus significantly boosts the attractiveness of the programme, as domestic UK flights are now included in the product for the first time. Combined with the wide ranging international network, SACP is truly the top airline corporate loyalty proposition in the UK” said Frank Wagner SACP Manager UK & Ireland

bmi becomes the 13th Star Alliance member carrier to participate in SACP. In addition to its UK network, the second largest airline at London Heathrow, operating 10% of flights to/from the airport, will allow SACP participants to travel directly to numerous destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa.

The SACP corporate loyalty scheme is the industry’s first corporate incentive scheme which offers participants the opportunity to earn valuable PlusPoints across an extensive network of airlines and destinations. Hundreds of companies are joining every month making SACP the fastest growing travel incentive prorgamme for companies.

bmi is using technology such as e-ticketing, online booking, self check-in at the airport and via the internet, helping to smooth and speed up the pre-flight experience. Speed on the ground is matched in the air as bmi remains one of the most punctual airlines at Heathrow. bmi regional has also recently been named the UK’s most punctual airline for a fifth consecutive year.

bmi’s own corporate rewards programme, Company Rewards, has been discontinued and all members were given the opportunity to register to join SACP and transfer their collected points.
