Green Energy Development Announces the Retention of a Chief Technology and Strategy Officer

Atlanta, Georgia – September 16, 2010 – Green Energy Development, Inc. Wright as part of its executive management team.

Mr. Wright brings to GED years of experience in creating value in emerging market companies and a vast amount of experience in management and vetting of technology for acquisition and utilization. Mr. Wright will be in charge of GED’s technology utilization, utility monitoring, assurance, auditing, and management system for renewable energy project development and facilities operations, and strategic business and technologies direction. In addition, Mr. Wright will implement GED’s plan for a renewable technology division that will evaluate and seek to acquire certain emerging technologies that fit within its overall renewable development business model.

Mr. Wright was the Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer, EVP, and Director at Convergence.Com, a founding company of the broadband internet industry. Notably, Mr. Wright spearheaded the creation and emergence of the global broadband telecommunication services industry through his co-founding and successful development of Convergence.com, a broadband technology and services company. In addition to his achievements in Convergence.com, Mr. Wright has created industry altering software and designed technology for companies including Eastman Kodak, DEC, NCR, GE, and C-Cor.net, and has participated in numerous standards development groups and advisory boards.

Mr. Wright will also be a member of GED’s Board of Directors.
