Top Musical Talent Headlines Fundraiser For The Story Cox Benefit On September 19th In Austin

WEBWIRE

Austin, Texas - Top music stars from across Texas will come to Austin to donate their talent and support for Story Cox who was diagnosed with Leukemia in July, 2010. All ticket proceeds and donations will go toward Story’s medical treatment.

Top musical talent from all over Texas will convene at Nutty Brown Café in Austin on September 19th to raise funds for Story Cox, a four-year-old girl who is in a fight for her life against leukemia.

Although grateful for everyone helping organize the event, Jana Cox, coordinator for the event, stated “the fundraiser is still short of its goal. With only 5 more days until September 19th, it was urgent that more people purchased tickets for ‘Sing a Song for Story.’ There are still a few VIP tables available. All ticket purchases would directly benefit Story.”

“We’ve got an awesome day of music and entertainment planned to help support Story and her family,” said Sammi Studebaker, a friend and co-organizer for the event. ”Get your tickets and tell all your friends about it! We’ve got a whole slew of talented musicians coming out to ‘Sing a Song for Story’"

The fundraiser for Story will be from 12:00pm to 7:00pm on September 19, 2010

“A special thanks goes out to all the musicians headlining the event for Story and to the Nutty Brown Café who is helping host the event,” adds Cox. “We have an awesome music line-up!”
