Symantec to Host 2010 Annual Stockholder Meeting

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) will host its 2010 annual stockholder meeting on Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at 2 p.m. ET /11 a.m. PT. Stockholders will be able to attend the event virtually via the Internet, vote shares electronically and submit questions during the meeting. Following the conclusion of the meeting’s formal business, Enrique Salem, Symantec’s chief executive officer, will provide a review of Symantec’s corporate strategy and answer stockholder questions.

The interactive event will be available to stockholders via a live Webcast at http://www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/symantec.
