StorageIQ
Easy to install, low cost and compatible with virtually any tape library environment, StorageIQ’s RVA provides a proactive method for monitoring and validating the integrity and health of the overall backup environment through comprehensive reporting. With seamless heterogeneous integration and no software to install, the application agnostic RVA plugs directly into the Storage Area Network (SAN) and immediately begins to monitor performance for one or multiple libraries in the data center. Maintenance updates are transparent to users so that the focus can be placed on cost reduction, performance improvements and maximizing utilization. Data collection is done out-of-band of the backup or data application with no impact on the existing storage infrastructure.

StorageIQ’s real-time notifications enable proactive corrective action before failures occur. Easy to use monitoring and reporting is web accessible conveniently allowing storage administrators and IT managers to view all libraries in a data center from one single graphical interface so they can rapidly navigate to critical issues.
