Debut novel “Terrorist” has Christian Heads Turning
On August 1, 2010 the debut novel “Terrorist” by M.D. Hudson was released. Dubbed as a fiction novel, “Terrorist” has some shaking their heads.
“We are not terrorists. Nor are we a threat to anyone,” one woman from Waikoloa, HI commented. Despite the criticism Mrs. Hudson had this to say: “I am not implying that Christians are terrorists, not yet anyway. But where this country is headed we might as well be. It seems lately Christians can’t even have a bible study within their own homes with out some kind of complaint filed against them.”
Mrs. Hudson is referring to the incident in 2009 when a small congregation was charged with disturbing the peace by singing hymns within the privacy of the leaders own home.
When asked about her book and why she titled it as such, Mrs. Hudson replied, “Matthew 24:9 Jesus tells us very simply that we will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. We will be hated because we believe in Him. That’s what my book is all about. The day when we are in that situation and how there is still hope.”
Terrorist is inspired by the end time events foretold in the bible. “I wanted to get the word out that no matter what happens, there will always be those who believe in Jesus Christ. Even if it does mean we will be dubbed as terrorists.”
