Specialized Legal Investigation Firms Santoni Investigations and National Trademark Investigations Add Special Investigators: Expert investigators Matt Crawford and Tim Paterson expand firm’s investigative staff in California and Washington, D.C.

NTI Santoni, a leading legal investigation services company, today announced the addition of two new Special Investigators to its Santoni Investigations (www.santoni-investigations.com) and National Trademark Investigations (www.nationaltrademarkinvestigations.com) teams.

The firm’s new Special Investigators are:

Mr. Matt Crawford: Mr. Crawford brings to the firm a unique and deep skillset developed during years of experience with Federal agencies and the U.S. military. As a Special Investigator, Mr. Crawford will conduct case work on a broad range of matters, drawing on his investigative and interviewing skills developed during his work with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Most recently, Mr. Crawford served as a Special Investigator for the FDA, where he conducted complex investigations involving white collar crime and violations of Federal statutes, including investigations into the manufacture and sale of unapproved and counterfeit pharmaceuticals. Based in southern California, Mr. Crawford served for six years in the United States Marine Corps and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from National University.

Mr. Tim Paterson: Mr. Paterson is an expert in intellectual property research. As a Special Investigator for NTI Santoni, Mr. Santoni leverages more than 25 years investigative and research experience as a trademark analyst and researcher. He formerly headed the Washington, D.C. document services team for trademark search services firm Thomson CompuMark, where his team researched and conveyed records and documents to and from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Copyright Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Mr. Paterson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shepherd University and is a licensed private investigator in the state of Virginia.
