DirectRooms.com – Experience the work of the Viennese Masters in Perth on 29 September 2010

DirectRooms can announce that the Australian Chamber Orchestra will be playing a series of special performances by the Viennese Masters, Schubert, Beethoven and Brahms.

The term Viennese Masters comes from the time during the 19th Century when the Austrian capital of Vienna served as the home for these exciting composers.

The concert will be played on period instruments including gut strings and will begin with assistant leader Satu Vänskä taking to the stage to perform Schubert’s Rondo Brilliante on the violin.

Next up will be a performance of Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet followed by the final piece of the evening, Beethoven’s popular Septet in E-flat major, Opus 20.

The evening will be taking place at Perth Concert Hall from 20:00. Tickets costs from between 69 to 88 Australian Dollars for adults, with concessions 57 to 69 dollars and persons under 30 pay 35 dollars.
