DiaStar™ Server Receives 2009 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award

Dialogic and Project DiaStar™ Recognized for Outstanding Innovation

Parsippany, New Jersey - Dialogic Corporation (“Dialogic”), a global provider of world-class products and technologies for multimedia and signal processing, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) has named the DiaStarTM Server as a recipient of a 2009 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award. The DiaStar Server enables open source developers to create applications for fixed and mobile phones, such as IVVR systems, video surveillance systems, video gateways, mobile advertising and banking, multimedia social networking and basic video call completion.

Project DiaStarTM is an open source project sponsored by Dialogic that allows developers to access portions of the Dialogic® product portfolio to bring advanced communications technology to demanding open source markets. The DiaStarTM Server was developed as part of Project DiaStar, and acts as a multi-function peripheral that can be implemented as a media gateway, signaling gateway or media server.

Application developers from around the world are invited to submit mobile video applications built on Dialogic® components for a grand prize of US $10,000, with additional cash prizes awarded to two runners up. Those interested in participating will be able to download free software, including the DiaStar Server, to help develop their mobile video applications.
