DirectRooms.com – Cheer Chen Brings Show to Shanghai on 03 July 2010

DirectRooms.com announces that tickets are now on sale for Cheer Chen’s 3rd July concert at the Shanghai Gymnasium Grand Stage.

The show is slated to begin at 7:30pm, and tickets are already selling quickly.

Prices range from £18 to £109.

Boonlert recommends booking hotels well in advance of the concert date to ensure the best value.

Cheer Chen is a well-known Taiwanese singer-songwriter. Her folk-influenced sound has recently grown to include a definitive rock-and-roll slant.

Chen’s trademark Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar and flowing style of piano playing compliments her pure, melodic voice. Though she typically sings in Mandarin Chinese, Chen appeals to a wide international audience.

She writes her own music and lyrics, and has independently produced many of her recordings.

In 2006 she was awarded prizes for Best Music Album Producer and Best Music Video at the 17th Annual Golden Melody Awards. She was also nominated for Best Album of the Year and Best Female Singer.

Chen’s debut album was released in 1997, and her discography to date includes half a dozen albums and several performance DVDs.
