Iceland Volcano and Flight Disruption reactions with online News channel IceNews

Icelandic news channel IceNews has reported on the great support given by the City of Reykjavik towards the stranded foreign travellers in Iceland.

The independent news and media channel IceNews states that travellers currently stranded in Iceland are safe and sound. All visitors have been given complimentary Reykjavik Welcome Cards, allowing for free access across numerous leisure facilities within Reykjavik and the surrounding area. These include swimming pools, museums, art galleries, as well as public transport.

Also, during the article, IceNews captured some of the views of those affected in Iceland. In an interview conducted by known Icelandic TV personality Vala Matt, a Dutch couple responding to a question about how they shall spend their time in Iceland during the delay period, they said “we’ll just see some more, it’s a great country to be in.”
