Miami’s Finest Women Chefs Cook “Lunch in the Garden”

In celebration of Women’s History Month this March, Miami’s finest women chefs will be showing off their culinary talents and cooking “Lunch in the Garden” for Miami Beach’s second annual Women’s Exhibit Conference and Expo and you’re all invited.

This fabulous lunch will be sponsored by the Boucher Brothers and hosted by Miami Beach’s Mayor Matti Herrara Bower and will be served in the Botanical Garden on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 12:00PM – 1:45PM as part of this exciting two day event . WE “Woman’s Exhibit” is a not for profit organization that was created to lift and empower all the woman of our community through support and positive reinforcement of our sisters with the mantra of Empowering Ourselves, Empowering Others. The first day of the event, Friday, March 26, 2010 is offered FREE to the public with the exclusion of the “Lunch in the Garden”. Friday begins at City Hall with the Mayor’s panel featuring women leaders and women in politics. After lunch, our main keynote speaker, Author and Historian, Doris Weatherford, will speak at the Miami Beach Convention Center about the history of women and how it relates to where the women of the 21st century are now. WE ends the day back in the Botanical garden with the Miami Beach Commission for Women award ceremony, honoring our community’s “Women Worth Knowing”, always an inspiring evening as we acknowledge these great woman who care and give so much to our city.

On Saturday, March 27, 2010 is the Miami Beach Woman’s Expo, it is taking place in Hall B from 10:00AM - 6:00PM at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Admission is $5.00 and teens are FREE. WE has proudly gathered over 60 vendors of woman owned businesses consisting of many different women’s organizations, a teen forum and lots of retailers for SHOPPING pleasure! Simultaneously going will be a plethora of workshops focused for women on such topics as, Health, Beauty, Finance, Safety, Business and Inspirational speakers. You’ll also find Fashion, Publications, Corporate, Non-Profits, Art, Comedy and Live Music Performances.
