Harris Corporation Awarded $7 Million IT Services Contract for Air Force IME Business Solutions Software Development Support

WASHINGTON, DC - Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, has been awarded a $7 million, one-year IT services task order for the Headquarters Air Force (HAF) Information Management Enterprise (IME) Business Solutions Software Development Services Support program.

The Harris team consists of Ascentium, ATS Corporation, Capability Plus Solutions Inc. and IndigoIT. Under the terms of the agreement, the team will provide on-site technical services for new and existing software development within HAF-IME. The work will encompass business process engineering, enterprise architecture, requirements management, graphical user interface design, technical writing, software engineering, software test management and systems administration.

HAF-IME Business Solutions group supports senior decision-makers, including the Secretary of the Air Force, the Air Force Staff and other Air Force organizations within the National Capital Region.

This task order was awarded under the Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract, a five-year $9 billion acquisition initiative that delivers interoperability and the constant evolution of the best technology and solutions to the Air Force, Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
